Fire Safe Kids Program (Grades K-3)

Fire Safe Kids is a FREE educational program offered to schools throughout San Diego County for children (K-3). Presented by the Burn Institute, Fire Safe Kids is a dynamic 30-minute program that teaches youngsters about fire and burn prevention in a fun, interactive format through the use of compelling video, in-class question/answer sessions, take-home materials and website. FireSafeKid.org serves as a supplement to the program to reinforce important safety tips and teach family members similar fire and burn prevention messages.

Designed and tested by local educators, Fire Safe Kids the program features kid-friendly characters who run into a series of familiar scenarios involving typical fire hazards in and around the home. It's a fast-moving and informative program that will keep your children engaged and give them the skills they'll need to be – FIRE SAFE KIDS!

Each classroom participant will receive a FREE Fire Safe Kids coloring book, pencil and sticker!
